Greg Prato "the Devil On One Shoulder and An Angel On The Other

After having read "The devil on one shoulder..." I can say it's a must not only to a Blind Melon fan.

The style is not new. However, the freshness of the content, the approach to each and every voice of this choral book, the relevance these voices had in the story and success of the band and the way Greg Prato lets them flow have made the book such a remarkable piece of art and the best document of a band I've ever read.

As a fan -not the best by far but totally enchanted by the music and voice, as well by the tragical end both times- I must say that once I read it I needed to do so again (for a person that has studied literature and philology, believe me this is a recognition on the excellent work done).

Now I can say that Summer'09 was the one when I read this book.

You see, in personal terms I'm living one of the best years in my life and Prato's book has helped me feel so.

Really, you may have not heard about Blind Melon and if you dare to read it you'll feel the need to go listen to their music to love them as much as the one in the book. It's the best way to live the band if you were not lucky to be contemporary of their blessed and unfortunate existence.

Great document! I love it.

Thank you Greg for the hard work.
